We couldn’t be more proud of the incredible journey Dustin has taken in the workplace!

Dustin started as a dishwasher, learning the importance of teamwork, responsibility, and showing up ready to work. But he didn’t stop there! Through dedication, determination, and a willingness to learn, Dustin continued to build his skills, gain confidence, and take on new challenges.

Today, Dustin has learned how to complete every job in the back of the house! From washing dishes and preparing food to keeping things organized and supporting the entire kitchen team, he has developed an incredible range of skills and become a valuable member of the team.

But Dustin’s success is also a great example of what can happen when coworkers and supervisors invest in someone’s potential. His coworkers have provided natural supports, shared their knowledge, answered questions, and worked alongside Dustin as he learned new responsibilities. His supervisors have recognized his abilities, encouraged him to grow, and provided opportunities for him to learn new skills and take on greater responsibilities.

That is what career development and inclusion look like in action. It isn't about doing things for someone—it’s about creating opportunities to learn, providing support when needed, recognizing strengths, and giving someone the chance to show what they can do.

Dustin’s journey reminds us that employment can be a starting point, not a destination. With the right opportunities, encouragement, natural supports, and a willingness to keep learning, people can continue to grow within their careers.

We are incredibly proud of Dustin and grateful to the coworkers and supervisors who have been part of his journey. Together, they are showing what is possible when a workplace believes in someone's potential.

Congratulations, Dustin! Keep growing, keep learning, and keep shining!
